But Jesus said Get thee behind me, Satan! In the same way, we have to respond exactly that way. Jesus also refuted him by using the Word of God against him. Let us store up the Word of God so that we may not sin against God. If a person were to gain the world and lose their souls, was it truly worth it? What is your soul worth? Jesus thought it was worth everything. He gave His all for you.
