We are saved by grace through faith and not by works unless any man should boast. Yet, faith without works is dead. According to the scriptures, an unjust balance is an abomination to the Lord. We cannot be saved by our works, deeds, or by following the law. We are only saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is a gift of God, but it's up to us to take care of that gift and prove to God that we love Him and want to live to please Him. If someone chooses to disobey and walk in darkness, then sadly, there is a chance of them falling away from the faith, God forbid. His commands are not grievous but are made for our own good. He loves us enough to show us how we ought to live so that we remain in victory and stay saved. Thank you, Lord.
