Jesus said that people don't put a lit candle under a bed, but they put it on a candlestick so that everyone in the house can see, and likewise a city on a hill is not able to be hid. It shines bright, even from afar; you can see the light coming from it in the sky. Jesus is the light of the world, and if He dwells inside of us, then we must shine the light of Jesus Christ in this dark world. People need this light because if they don't have this light, they know not what they stumble over as they walk in darkness. Let us shine this light in dark places. Let us reach the lost and present to them the love of Christ and this wonderful gift of salvation. Let's share The Word of God.
